It depends on the rules in the braille translation table. As you know, Grade
II braille (in English and in its counterparts in other languages) has complex
rules concerning the application of contractions across syllable boundaries.
These create a real challenge to the authors of braille translation
software, who must write tables of rules that deal with all of the special
cases and complexities resulting from this aspect of braille. Sometimes, the
rules used by the braille translator aren't accurate. Your example could be
one of those cases.

You'll need to compile and install liblouis (http://www.jjb-software.com/) and
set up Orca to use it. As I remember, there are instructions at the Orca Web
site explaining how this is done.
