[orca-list] Orca scripting documentation?

Is there some manual/document describing how to enhance Orca by writing
custom user scripts?

A typical example would be to omit the "button" message in certain
situations.  I might want to play a sound icon or let to speak the
button label in a different voice instead of saying the verbose message
when a button gets focus.

I could probably use ~/.orca/orca-scripts/ to redefine some Orca classes
to achieve such effects but it looks like a too much rude way that may
break itself or other things any time for numerous reasons.  Is there
any recommended way to make advanced user customizations?
