[orca-list] speech dispatcher back end not working

Hello listers, I have upgraded to the latest speech-dispatcher 0.6.2
version and have also installed python-speechd. spd-say hello  is
working normally. there is no error when I type
> > > > import speechd
from python.
Despite this, there is only one item in the speech system combo box i.e
gnome speech services. How can I fix this problem and use backend speech
dispatcher driver? please note that I am running the latest trunk 
version of orca
