Re: Orca orca locking up with firefox

Hi Willie,

Yes I have much of gnome working with orca. The biggest thing I haven't
been able to get working is firefox.

I pulled down the firefox bzip fie you suggested, now what options
should I use to compile it?

Hi Don:

From the output below, it looks as though Orca cannot access the X
server. Have you been able to get Orca running at all?

In addition, I'm sure you are aware that the accessibility support in
Firefox is being completely rewritten for Firefox 3.0 and that we are
focusing solely on Firefox 3.0 at the moment.

We definitely appreciate you brining these problems to our attention,
and it would be nice to get to the bottom of the matter. Do you know
which Firefox 3.0 you are using? The Firefox team is working very hard
to fix crashes and such, and new updates are available every day. The
URL for the latest is available here (note the firefox-3.0a2pre versus
firefox-3.0a1pre - the a2pre is what you want):

I keep trying to get orca to work with firefox. I updated to firefox
2.0.0.1, but anytime I try to go to a page, firefox or orca locks up.

I upgraded to firefox 3 beta but the same thing happens.

My log from my gnome session follows:
