Firewalling on Linux is not generally a gui issue. There may be
front-ends to iptables that attempt to assist, but the real work is done
from the command line. A common package used to help you with all the
arcane issues of iptables is called shorewall.

But, are you really needing a firewall? If you aren't hosting
applications, and if you don't do something dumb like run Firefox as
root, you're probably quite OK by default with any standard Linux
distribution today. Do you even know what ports you have open?
