[orca-list] braille only works when user is root

Hi all, how come I can only access the braille display in orca when I am root?  Under the command line, 
brltty works 
fine as a normal user, but I can only get braille output from orca when I am logged in as root.  Any idea 
what files 
need to have their perms changed?
