This thread is something I am interested in, and was a topic I was trying to cover in the thread about maths and orca, although that seems to have gone more now torwards the character side of things. Yes the formatting is the other part of maths notation, and this I think is more where orca really is limited currently. I tried to see if I could get the super script state of a character in firefox, but when I pressed <orca-key>+f it didn't say anything (although this seems the most sensible key press from what is said in learn mode).

I really would like to get proper support for these notations working as this is an area that assistive technology seems to have generally ignored.
