Re: Orca outputCharAttributes is speech only?

Hi Mike. I'm afraid I don't know if that's what I'm referring to or
not. <grin> What I'm wondering is this: How does a braille user
identify that the current text is, say, 14 point Times New Roman? A
speech user can obtain this info by pressing Insert+F.

Thanks and take care.

Hi Joanie,
Looking at default.py, it seems that outputCharAttributes only outputs
in speech. Assuming that is indeed the case, is this intentional or
something that is still on the to-do list? Just wondering....

We have in the user requirements the requirement to allow the use of
dots 7 and 8 to handle this. The user should be able to toggle between
various attributes and see the character with the currently selected
attribute underlined with dots 7 and 8.
Is this what you are referring to?
Mike
