With respect to /var/log/Xorg.0.log, where would you suggest checking
for it with respect to XFree86_VT and WINDOWPATH?
If WINDOWPATH is defined, just use enterTtyModeWithPath() (without
arguments). This is the long-term way.
Else, if XFree86_VT is available (it is since Xorg 6.8 and XFree86
~4.4), use enterTtyMode(XFree86_VT).
Else, you may want to parse /var/log/{Xorg,XFree86}.0.log, but I don't
recommend that :)
Else, assuming 7 should be fine in most cases.
