Toget more testers, you might wanna send notices like this to the general Orca list.  This list has basically been dead for months!

I think many more people follow the other list.  Half the time, I rarely even open this folder on my box because the list is so dead.

This patch is working very well. Is there any chance that support could be added for gedit too? I tried it and it just read everything. Of course I only tried briefly with a small file, so if it is supposed to work already let me know and I get a larger file to try with. I have been testing mainly with Evolution.
