valuetype and typePrefix not supported?

Hello,
apparently when trying to compile an IDL definition with "valuetype" or "typePrefix", the orbit idl compiler fails
Is this the expected beahviour or maybe I'm using an older version? I'm using the Orbit2 package shipped with the latest stable Ubuntu distribution (1:
2.14.7-ubuntu1).
