ORBit1 to ORBit2 blues

Hi,

I tried to verify some ORBit versions on the systems we use now to 
develop the new ORBit2 version of our software.

RH 7 system:

Using uname-a on the system on which we compile our original ORBit-1 
server gives me:
Linux ... 2.4.7-10 #1 Thu Sep 6 17:27:27 EDT 2001 i686 unknown

The ORBit version gives the following:
orbit-config --version: ORBit 0.5.8

R.H 8.0 system:
On the RedHat 8 system where we run this server for testing:
Linux ... 2.4.18-14 #1 Wed Sep 4 13:35:50 EDT 2002 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux

But the ORBit version which came with RH8 seesm to predate the one from 
RH 7.1 ????????
orbit-config --version: ORBit 0.5.13

The new ORBit2 client we are testing on a Fedora 2 Core:
ORBit2 2.10.0
