Hi,
I've problem configuring ORBit-0.5.17 against glib-2.0.7, which does NOT
have anymore glib-config, but uses pkg-config:
[...]
checking for glib-config... no
checking for GLIB - version >= 1.2.1... no
[...]
$ pkg-config --cflags glib-2.0
-I/software/@sys/usr/include/glib-2.0 -I/software/@sys/usr/lib/glib-2.0/include
$ pkg-config --libs glib-2.0
-L/software/@sys/usr/lib -lglib-2.0 -lintl -liconv
$
Is ORBit2 a newer version of ORBit? I'm getting lost in the docs at
http://orbit-resource.sourceforge.net/. Nowhere it explains what is what.
The same applies to http://www.labs.redhat.com/orbit/. The latter seems
to be quite outdated with many broken links. :(
Anyway, should I stick with ORBit2-2.5.1? Where can I find list of
dependecies? The ORBit2-2.5.1/README is quite sparse on information. I see
configure complaining about missing package called linc ... some more?
I use Tru64 Unix 5.1A with cc.
