ORBit2 build problem on slackware 8.1

	I just installed slackware 8.1. Before, I used to compile cvs gnome 2.1
in my home dir. Now, I can't compile ORBit2, no matter what I do. Here's
what I get, always (no matter what version I compile):

orb-core/.libs/liborb-core.al(iop-defs-common.lo)(.data+0x0): multiple definition of `CORBA_Current__classid'
orb-core/.libs/liborb-core.al(corba-defs-common.lo)(.data+0x0): first defined here
orb-core/.libs/liborb-core.al(iop-defs-common.lo)(.data+0x4): multiple definition of `CORBA_Policy__classid'
orb-core/.libs/liborb-core.al(corba-defs-common.lo)(.data+0x4): first defined here

  Any idea why this happens? What could be wrong with my system?
