Please take the source code from the archive located as indicated at:
http://icps.u-strasbg.fr/~genaud/ORBIT/c18.html#AEN28

For example,  ftp://opera.u-strasbg.fr/pub/ORBit/orbit-docs.tar.gz
It is much more easier since you have the Makefiles in the archive.
