Connection to remote object

Hi,

this is the additional info to my previous post :

The IOR I am getting after using (-ORBIIOPIPv4=1) in
the command line is :
IOR:010000001000000049444c3a4d61746d756c743a312e300002000000caaedfba5000000001010000290000002f746d702f6f726269742d616c6f64682f6f72622d3130333731303938363738353134373836343700000000180000000000000048b4a9ba683cc354010000003ef073994af670f6000000003800000001010000120000006e65746c6162352e63732e75682e65647500ba05180000000000000048b4a9ba683cc354010000003ef073994af670f6

The server is running one linux machine on one subnet
and the client is running on another linux machine on
another subnet. both machine are running redhad linux
and ORBit.

CORBA_ORB_string_to_object routine fails when in
getting the object from the IOR.

I will really appreciate any help.

Thanks,
Amit
