Object Definition Language

For the GNUe project, we're looking at using the ODMG's Object
Definition Language, and would like to find an existing parser, or if
necessary modify libIDL.

Does anyone know of an existing project developing such a library
(ideally with a C API) or other related resouces?   Is there any easy
way to use libIDL as a base, without splitting it off from the version
used by ORBit and also not causing problems for ORBit?

Any advice/assistance would be appreciated.
