If you are talking about the name-server which comes with ORBit, you must
know it is not really functional. (0.5.3). And you don't have access to it
through sockets. You must use the supplied IOR (stdout) when you run it.

if you still want to know what port it listens to you can do something
like :

orbit-name-server > name-server.ior
ior-decode `cat name-server.ior`

or

netstat -ap  | grep orbit
