what type of backgrounds we want, do we want beautiful photos? do we

bit of each?

i personaly feel confortable with photos found "here and there" on the
web, (my last on is form linuxart.com, strawberries collection, but i
will not suggest it for the "realy red" colors..) but i think that the
RedHat ideas for the background included in the 9beta was not so good:
the default was an insect, so i find that photos are ok if they are
"neutral" (no iceberg in the middle of a frozen sea like windows..)

Another thing that i find confortable with is "rounded angles" in the
lower part of the screen ( panel-corner-(left|right).png, flipped to
stay downside) i usualy paste them on bg, maybe it can be automatized,
or placed on the images in the module..

We also need to look at improving the background chooser, but that has
to wait for the code freeze, so it's be nice to get cracking on this
soon.

i find it rather slow on loading images, but maybe it's my laptop..

PS: Mark Finlay, pardon me for the private mail.. it was for the list :o)
