Hi,

NetworkManager supports DNS plugins: "dnsmasq", "systemd-resolved"

"unbound" was added a long time ago ([2], [3]), but is the most
incomplete.
It only spawns "/usr/libexec/dnssec-trigger-script". It does so
blockingly,
which is problematic ([1]).
The plugin is really a part of dnssec-trigger, but that doesn't
actually use
the NM "unbound" plugin, instead it installs a dispatcher script.
I think this plugin should be dropped.
Would you care? Are you using it? Please report back, if that's the
case.
I'd be surprised of any users, but I'd like to hear.
