Re: Collect agreement/disagreement to Relicense NetworkManager under LGPL-2.1+

I have pushed a new MR[0] which adds the missing license to the meson build files. Although all the meson build files have been modified in such MR, there are some files that have not been created by me, so I suppose that an explicit authorization is also required. These are the meson build files and the authors not created by me:

./src/initrd/tests/meson.build
Author: Lubomir Rintel <lkundrak v3 sk>
./src/initrd/meson.build
Author: Beniamino Galvani <bgalvani redhat com>
./shared/nm-glib-aux/tests/meson.build
Author: Thomas Haller <thaller redhat com>
./clients/cloud-setup/meson.build
Author: Thomas Haller <thaller redhat com>

If the authorization also extends to those that have modified the files, this is the list of involved authors:

Antonio Cardace
Beniamino Galvani
Benjamin Berg
Christian Kellner
Corentin Noël
Francesco Giudici
Iñigo Martínez
Jan Alexander Steffens (heftig)
Jan Tojnar
Javier Arteaga
Lubomir Rintel
Michael Biebl
Soapux
Taegil Bae
Thomas Haller
Tom Gundersen

These lists have also been added to the MR as a comment.

Hope this helps,

BR,

It's somewhat unfortunate that the build scripts (and a couple of other
files) lack clear licensing information. I believe that they constitute
copyrightable work. As far as I'm aware, we don't document any sort of
"fallback" for files without explicit licensing terms like e.g. the
Linux kernel does. We'll eventually need to clarify licensing of those
files.

Since you're originally written the meson scripts and have done most
work on them, I'm wondering if you could submit a patch to add that
would add a SPDX tags to meson.build files? We prefer LGPL-2.1+, but I
guess anything more liberal would also work.

Thank you
Lubo
