Hi, no cable plugged in. As you also see with `ip link` which should tell NO-CARRIER. On a device without carrier, you cannot activate a connection with DHCP. Static IPv4 addressing would work though (IPv6 not, because you cannot do duplicate address detection either). best, Thomas
