Ok, I disabled the warning. https://cgit.freedesktop.org/NetworkManager/NetworkManager/commit/?id=705e63a292974abeccaaabb8dd405804e676275b It's essential to be able to build with -Werror enabled -- at least on common platforms, like Fedora-rawhide with gcc7. If somebody thinks the warning is essential, please send a follow-up patch to re-enable it (and fix the false positives). thanks poma, Thomas
