VPN client in March of last year, a few months before you wrote the
above email. In the last week or so we added NetworkManager support for
using openconnect with the Juniper protocol too.

So you shouldn't really need to run badly-integrated third-party code
at all :)

I'd be interested to know how well it works for you (and it making it
work, if it doesn't).

As I have switched employers in the meantime, I am fortunate enough to
not be exposed anymore to anything Juniper :) We are using OpenVPN,
which turns out to be way easier to handle :)
