Hello,

I am unable to configure Networkmanager to connect to a cisco VPN. I
get
the error "IP configuration invalid" ( translated from german )
I can connect using vpnc.
My opensuse is german, so maybe the names of the configuration mask
fields are different
I have set
Gateway to the value in IPsec gateways
Username to Xauth username
Userpassword to the password vpnc asks me
Groupname to IPsec ID
Grouppassword to IPsec secret

and as method "link-local"*

That one makes no sense for VPNs I think. Does the remote provide you
with network configuration? If not, then that's what the error message
says.

*I use NM 1.0.12 on Opensuse*

I'm wondering if you could attach the log from the connection attempt
(run "journalctl -fl" and capture the output)? (There should be no
secrets there, but please check twice).

Also, checking with a more recent version of NM may make sense -- there
was a ton of work done on the Libreswan plugin and NetworkManager
itself after 1.0.

*Can anyone please help me
Thank you
Andreas

Thanks,
Lubo
