is /etc/dhcp/dhclient-enter-hooks.d broken

In this folder there're couple of files, 1 is debug.

i turned on that 

        RUN="yes"

added this in the last line,

    echo 'angtghghkimn' >> /opt/mylog

   

after reboot, it gets the new ip from dhcp server, but cannot see anything in /opt/mylog.

any suggestions pls ?
