Hello,

a friend of mine has this built in modem. He uses it at the moment with
nm/mm-->ttyACM-->ppp.

But it works with too:

echo -en 'at+cgdcont=1,"ip","web.vodafone.de"\r' > /dev/ttyACM0
echo -en 'AT*ENAP=1,1\r' > /dev/ttyACM0
dhclient wwan0

I am not sure about, what nm he is using, may be this device is already
in
wwan-mode supported. If not please add the wwan-support.

Thomas

Thomas, if you manually apply the patch to the udev rules on that
laptop, does the patch fix the issue?

It does! He has applied the patch and nm now uses wwan0.
