That's completely unexpected. Did the MC7750 really report itself with
the Wavecom USB vendor ID? It should have been Sierra Wireless' vendor
ID (0x1199) not the Wavecom one (0x114f). Truth is that Sierra Wireless
bought Wavecom, so I guess they can do whatever they want with the USB
IDs, but this is just unfortunate :)

Can you get me a full ModemManager debug log with this MC7750 being
picked by the Wavecom plugin?

If we need to handle this case, we would add a forbidden-drivers filter
in the Wavecom plugin, including both "sierra" and "sierra-net".
