ANN: NetworkManager 0.8.4 released


I'm pleased to announce the release of the latest stable version of
NetworkManager, version 0.8.4.  This release contains a number of new
features and many bug fixes.  Notable improvements are:

- [core] IPv6 setup, addressing, and routing fixes
- [core] Improvements to DNS and local-caching-nameserver setups
- [core] No longer updates /etc/hosts when hostname changes
- [core] Request more options (including WPAD) from DHCP servers
- [core] Persistent hostname now sent to DHCP servers by default
- [core] Fixed WWAN enable/disable handling
- [core] Allows use of paths for certificates in configuration keyfiles
- [nm-applet] Allows MD5 as a wired 802.1x method
- [nm-applet] Show IPv6 information in Connection Info dialog
- [nm-applet] Fix crashes due to missing icons
- [editor] Fixes for connection editor insensitivity issues
- [openconnect] better handling of private keys
- [openvpn] better handling of unencrypted private keys
- [openvpn] fix issues with HTTP proxies
- [openvpn] handle secrets for system connections
- [pptp] fix issues with VPN server pools
- [vpnc] import/export fixes
- [vpnc] allow configuration of IKE DH Group option
