Hmm, there haven't been any ModemManager changes in a long time in F14,
so this is odd. But it looks like maybe it's not getting detected
correctly by MM, so here's what you can do:
1) unplug the phone
2) mv /usr/sbin/modem-manager / (stop it from being autostarted)
3) killall -TERM modem-manager
4) /modem-manager --debug
5) plug the phone in
and reply back with the modem-manager output is.
