Pre Configuring a Device to Connect to a network

Hi,

I wanted to know if there is a way to pre-configure gnome-network-manager to
connect to a wireless network. 
i.e., The customer has his wifi essid and its password. I will have
configure the device to connect to that network(before I give the device to
him) when it finds it.

Is it possible? If yes, how? Any help is appreciated.
