Hi folks,
I have a very old iMac G3 which I have equipped with a Linksys WUSB54GS
v2.1 USB wireless adapter. This iMac runs 2.6.32 with rndis_wlan module
for the USB wireless adapter.
Working with just wpa_supplicant and wpa_supplicant.conf, I can always
get a successful connection to my wireless router (again, a DD-WRT
equipped Linksys WRT54GS v5.2 router).
When I use NetworkManager and specify WPA/WPA2 and supply the
passphrase, I simply cannot get a successful connection at all.
Here's the versions I'm using on the iMac G3:
NetworkManager 0.8
nm-applet 0.8
wpa_supplicant 0.6.9
As far as I can determine using only CCMP results in failed connections
to the wireless net, but using both TKIP CCMP (same order) results in
successful connections via wpa_supplicant.
Any ideas that I can try?
