Compiling from source

I am trying to compile NM from the source in git on Ubuntu Karmic.

I have managed to sort out most of the build dependencies but I am 
unable to find a solution to the following errors:

Can't exec "libtoolize": No such file or directory at 
/usr/bin/autoreconf line 190.
Use of uninitialized value $libtoolize in pattern match (m//) at 
/usr/bin/autoreconf line 190.
configure.ac:20: warning: macro `AM_GCONF_SOURCE_2' not found in library
autom4te: cannot create autom4te.cache: No such file or directory
aclocal: autom4te failed with exit status: 1
autoreconf: aclocal failed with exit status: 1
