If the 'hso' kernel driver has the IDs for the 505, then it should work
with latest NM 0.7.2-rc series.  It should also work with NM
0.8/ModemManager if you add a dummy user and password, a restriction
that I'll be fixing quite soon.

If there's a bug, it needs to get fixed anyway, so you can help test
that and you can be assured we'll fix it pretty quickly :)
