Hello, I have a Siemens AX72 with USB data cable. This cable is actually a USB to RS-232 adapter based on pl2303 chip. So HAL says it is just a serial port (it has no means to determine that there is actually a GSM modem on the other end of RS-232 line). Consequently, NM does not detect this device as a modem. Is there any way to make NM detect this device as GSM modem without hacking HAL configuration? Thank you.
