setting dhcp client id option

Is there a way to configure NetworkManager to send dhcp-client-id dhcp option, such that it is set to the interface  mac address?

Using MAC address as the  dhcp client id is typical for windows systems.

I know I can set it manually either through the nm-connection-editor or using the dhclient.conf,  but am looking for a dynamic way that can work on a LiveCD.
