I am trying to compile the pptp vpn-daemon on Fedora 8. It complains
that dbus-glib is version 0.73 and it needs at least 0.74. Does this
mean it won't work on standard Fedora 8? Upgrading dbus sounds like a
lot of work (though I haven't tried yet).
This is how I did it:
- svn co the files
- install gnome-common macros2
- go to svn/NetworkManager/vpn-daemons/pptp
- run ./autogen.sh
- run ./configure (this is where it stops)
I hoped I could use the rpms from koji for the rest of NM, and just
"patch it" with pptp vpn-daemon. Or would it be better to compile the
whole shabang?
Regards
Bjørge
