The purpose of this script is to edit the /etc/resolv.conf

search list info].
It should, that's what the 'domain_search' option is for. (RFC 3397,
option 119).
That RFC appears to be a proposal that isn't widely implemented.
There is nothing on my DHCP host machine that indicates there
is any support for it.
dhcpcd-3.x upwards supports it.
NM-0.7 supports dhcpcd-4.0 upwards.
Another solution would be to use resolvconf (which NM-0.7 supports) and
get that to add the domains to the search path that NM supplies.
If you're distro does not have dhcpcd-4 or resolvconf, you can download
them from my site [1] [2] with easy to install instructions.
Thanks
