You mean PPP (Point-to-Point Protocol) connection not PPTP
(Point-to-Point Tunneling Protocol, a VPN thing) right?  What SVN
revision are you using?

When you say "confirm that it is working", what do you mean you're able
to select it from the applet's menu?
