Last network connected

Okay - it's happened enough I can finally write it down...
If I connect to my WEP enable home network "matthewboh", then shut down my computer - if my neighbor has his unsecured wireless network called "linksys" up and running, network manager will always try to connect to "linksys". If linksys is down, then it properly connects to my own secured network. Is there anyway to say that "matthewboh" is the default even when there's an unsecured wireless in the neighborhood.
Other than that - great product!
