Hi friends,
I have a trouble with NetworkManager on my Slackware 12.0.
I have a notebook with bcm4318 wireless chipset; wireless is powered
by ndiswrapper.
When I start NetworkManager with option no-daemon and this is a log:
NetworkManager: <info> starting...
NetworkManager: <info> eth0: Device is fully-supported using driver 'r8169'.
NetworkManager: <info> Now managing wired Ethernet (802.3) device 'eth0'.
NetworkManager: <info> Bringing up device eth0
NetworkManager: <info> Deactivating device eth0.
NetworkManager: <info> wlan0: Device is fully-supported using driver
'ndiswrapper'.
NetworkManager: <info> Now managing wireless (802.11) device 'wlan0'.
NetworkManager: <info> Bringing up device wlan0
NetworkManager: <info> Deactivating device wlan0.
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
NetworkManager: <info> Trying to start the supplicant...
>From nm-applet i can select only wired network (eth0); wireless
network is empty.
If i launch wpa_supplicant with standard option, i can connect without
any problem.
Any idea?
Regards,
kad
