Hi all,
dhcdbd is now dead [1].
Much of the credit goes to Robert Frank, who wrote the initial patch.
NM now spawns dhclient directly and handles all dhclient life cycle
issues. Options are returned to NM via a dhclient callout script.
We'll have to discuss a way to expose further DHCP options to other
processes, possibly as another interface on NMDevice.
Dan
[1] at least on trunk (ie, 0.7). Wouldn't be that hard to backport to
0.6.5 if somebody cared.
