Hi,
I'm trying to get a successful VPNC connection using NM. I'm runnind
Debian/Sid (NM 0.6.4), and got the VPNC plugin from CVS.
NM connects fine through VPNC, but I can't access most websites. The
only difference I can find with running vpnc-connect from the command
line is that vpnc-connect updates /etc/resolv.conf with the right
nameservers, while NM does nothing.
This is an issue that has been reported by others and I thought a
patch was posted, but I have been searching my archives and I can't
seem to find it.
I have also seen people report this for OpenVPN as well but since I
don't use either I haven't dug deeply into it to find out if it is a
problem for everyone who uses VPNC or OpenVPN or just isolated issues.
Can someone who uses VPNC or OpenVPN chime in if their resolv.conf is
being updated properly?
