How does NetworkManager detect whether a connection is wired vs
wireless? I updated my FC5 system last night, and now NetworkManager
shows my wireless card as wired -- if I click on the NetworkManager
icon, I see my normal wired network connection (disabled) and my
wireless as "Wired Network (Broadcom Corporation BCM4306 802.11b/g
Wireless LAN Controller)".
I think the general consensus on this bug is that it's a problem with
the bcm43xx driver and not HAL or NetworkManager. As far as I know,
there's not a solution yet, but I believe people are working on it.
Have a look here:

Does anyone on the know more about the situation than that?
