NetworkManager and fixed MTU

Hi guys,

I would like to ask if it is already possible to force the MTU of an
interface by whatever mean. If not, would it be hard to add it?
Currently, thanks to the DHCP client, it is already possible to take
this parameter from DHCP "interface-mtu" option, but for manually
configured interface, I have no idea of how to do this.
