Hello,
I'm trying to figure out how I can shutdown and restart
NetworkManager with the --no-daemon option (for debugging).
Right now my system starts NetworkManager and all the
related stuff when I start it up. I would like to be able to
shutdown -- and restart -- the daemon, et al without having
to reboot my system each time.
It depends on the distribution. On Gentoo, this works:
/etc/init.d/NetworkManager restart
It's kind of nice that way.
But I can't figure out what starts it in Ubuntu.
