Hi,
Is there a place which shows what are the good/bad network drivers that
work with NM ?
I am asking this because many cases of "NM does not work for me" is
because of bad/incomplete wired/wireless network drivers.
For instance, there are more than few drivers that don't properly
implement the "carrier" status in /sys/class/net/INTERFACE/carrier,
meaning NM will not be able to know when the link is up/down.
Not to mention the multitude of problems with certain wireless drivers.
I have a lot of friends for which NM simply does not work because of
network drivers, and they just assumed that NM is buggy.
Is there a wiki or something to track the status of network drivers and
such ?
