There seems to be no --rundir argument for ./configure, at least not
in the version I have. I have used --localstatedir instead, but that
doesn't help all the same.
Here is my complete configure line:

./configure --build=i486-linux-gnu --prefix=/usr
--includedir="\${prefix}/include" --mandir="\${prefix}/share/man"
--infodir="\${prefix}/share/info" --sysconfdir=/etc
--disable-maintainer-mode --with-dbus-sys=/etc/dbus-1/system.d
--libexecdir=/usr/bin --localstatedir=/var/run
--with-dhcdbd=/usr/sbin/dhcdbd
--with-wpa_supplicant=/usr/sbin/wpa_supplicant --with-distro=debian

Any other ideas? Please tell me if you need more information.

Cheers,
Michael
