This is a chipset issue. Netgear WG511v2 use a "softmac" prism. The
firmware in 1/3 of the size and le driver needs to do more stuff.

In short, return your card. I did that and got a SMC2835W v1 (hard to
find apparently, I was lucky) that works fine with prism54.
