Hello,
I have an ipw2100-based interface. The driver supports power management
which extends the battery life on my laptop. It's off by default, and
to turn it on I need to do "iwconfig eth1 power on".
In the case of ifup/ifdown, I would just put
IWCONFIG="power on"
...in ifcfg-eth1 and be done with it. Reading around on the net, I see
that NetworkManager does not use existing ifup/ifdown scripts, and I
understand why. However, where would I put extra configuration that I
want NetworkManager to set for my wireless interface?
Thanks in advance,
Bret
